Porter leads the healthcare law team, with decades of experience in the field.  He began his career as a healthcare administrator at Bellevue Hospital Center.  In private practice, Mr. Porter has handled more than fifty administrative hearings, including the successful defense of a physician before the OPMC who had been convicted of criminal reckless endangerment.

The firm’s healthcare law practice includes the defense of physicians and healthcare organizations confronted with potential criminal sanctions.  This area of practice focuses upon alleged billing fraud, Anti-Kickback statute violations, and fee splitting issues.   Mr. Porter has represented healthcare professionals requested to testify in criminal grand jury proceedings. Alfred P. Vigorito has extensive criminal law experience as a former Bronx Assistant District Attorney and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Southern District, under Hon. Rudolph Giuliani.  He has channeled this background and training into a successful criminal defense practice, working collaboratively with Mr. Porter on matters requiring his skill set.
