Scott Singer obtained a dismissal at the close of evidence in a Nassau County venued matter on behalf of his hospital client on December 14, 2017.  The case involved an alleged failure to timely deliver the plaintiff’s first child, leading to a subsequent secondary post-partum hemorrhage and need for a supracervical hysterectomy.  Mr. Singer was able to establish the hospital’s appropriate care by residents and nursing staff in both the labor and delivery, as well as the post-partum period, leading to the dismissal.
