Thomas P. Jaffa is a partner in the firm’s litigation group.  His areas of practice include various types of commercial casualty defense litigation including construction accidents (NYS Labor Law), construction defects, property damage, and premises liability. He also handles personal lines matters including homeowners and auto matters. 

Thomas was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2007.  Since that time, he has handled cases in nearly all of the counties in New York.  He has focused his practice on defending clients in all phases of litigation from inception through trial.  Thomas has achieved successful results for his clients through effective motion practice as well as during mediation.  In addition, Thomas has spent time working as a claim’s adjuster for a major commercial general liability insurer, where he was responsible for the management of a variety of high exposure suits and claims throughout the country.

Thomas graduated from Loyola College in Maryland in 2003 and Hofstra University School of Law in 2006.  He resides on Long Island with his wife and three daughters.
