Guy Lawrence is a partner of the firm specializing in the defense of medical malpractice actions, products liability/medical device cases, labor law/construction matters, premises liability, nursing home/long term care actions and all personal injury lawsuits. He has tried more than one hundred cases through jury verdict since 1984. He is also proficient and experienced in handling and orally arguing appeals before the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments.
Mr. Lawrence has represented and defended virtually all major hospitals and medical centers in the New York Metropolitan area, as well as physicians and health care providers in every conceivable medical specialty. Many of his cases have involved multi-million dollar exposure for his clients.
Mr. Lawrence earned his Juris Doctorate at St. John’s University School of Law in 1982, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of various professional groups and associations, oftentimes lecturing on his fields of practice.
