Gregg Weinstock is a litigator with over 30 years of experience and has tried more than 75 cases to verdict in federal and state courts. He has defended attorneys, law firms and legal service providers whose practice areas have included personal injury, criminal defense, corporate, matrimonial and immigration law against professional liability claims and lawsuits. Mr. Weinstock also represents attorneys in disciplinary proceedings. 

Gregg has tried numerous Labor Law cases to verdict representing owners, general contractors, construction managers and sub-contractors.  His practice has also included a significant number of depositions and dispositive motions in the Labor Law area. Gregg handles products liability defense representing manufacturers, distributors and retailers. His cases have included such products as industrial machinery, recreational and sporting equipment, vehicles, consumer goods and foods and beverages.

Gregg’s practice also includes director and officer liability and errors and omissions.  He also has represented insurance carriers in coverage matters including opinions and litigation.  Gregg’s practice includes employment law where he has represented employers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies in a variety of discrimination matters including, but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act and sexual harassment.  Gregg has advised and counseled employers in non-litigation matters and has drafted separation/severance and agreements and has drafted employee handbooks.

Gregg also represents employer clients facing sexual abuse litigation being pursued under the N.Y. Child Victims Act and similar revival statutes. He also represents municipalities in various litigation including police actions, code enforcement and general liability.

His practice also includes commercial transportation and motor vehicle defense. He has represented interstate trucking and bus companies, livery services, ambulances and ambulettes as well as private vehicles. In addition, Mr. Weinstock handles medical and dental malpractice, general liability and construction litigation.  

Gregg graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Political Science and received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University, where he was Associate Editor of The Journal of International Law and Economics. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Colorado, as well as numerous federal courts.  Gregg oversees the Naples, Florida office. Gregg is a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Civil Practice Law and Rules which reviews current procedural rules and formulates proposals for amendments as needed.
