David W. Allen is a member of the firm, who handles high-exposure medical malpractice actions, and nursing home cases, in both state and federal court. David has focused his practice on representing hospitals, doctors, nurses, and other medical providers, in all phases of litigation from inception through trial. Mr. Allen also represents general contractors and employers in construction accidents (NYS labor law), and municipalities and property owners in premises liability matters.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Allen was affiliated with several well-known medical malpractice defense firms and had the privilege of working in-house at one of the nation’s largest general liability insurers where he served as senior trial counsel.
Mr. Allen is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbel, their highest rank for ethics and ability.
David attended Stony Brook University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science, and earned a Juris Doctorate at Touro Law Center.
