Vigorito, Barker, Patterson, Nichols & Porter, LLP is proud to announce that Guy Lawrence and Miles Reiner have joined the firm as Partners. Mr. Lawrence, who will work out of the firm’s Long Island office has tried more than one hundred cases through jury verdict. He is also an experienced appellate attorney having handled and orally argued appeals before the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments. Mr. Lawrence has represented and defended virtually all major hospitals and medical centers in the New York Metropolitan area, as well as physicians and health care providers in every conceivable medical specialty. A large percentage of his practice involves cases of multi-million dollar exposure for his clients.

Mr. Reiner, who will work out of the firm’s New Jersey office, has tried numerous medical malpractice cases to verdict in State and Federal courts on behalf of physicians and hospitals. These cases have involved a variety of complex medical issues in virtually all areas of medicine. In addition to representing physicians and hospitals, Mr. Reiner has extensive experience in defending nursing homes and skilled care facilities involving both medical/nursing and general liability issues.
