On October 23, 2018, Ed Arevalo secured a defense verdict in Nassau County Supreme Court on behalf of a prominent neuro-radiologist.  Plaintiff’s counsel alleged the defendant failed to diagnose a cerebral aneurysm in a 42 year old woman which they claimed led to a rupture of the vessel, requiring a craniotomy.  As a result, they alleged the plaintiff sustained a host of neurological injuries.   Mr. Arevalo established via power point presentation that the physician’s interpretation of the MRA study was reasonable and in accordance with the standard of care.  Plaintiff’s counsel requested 17.2 million dollars from the jury, who returned with a unanimous defense verdict.
