Scott A. Singer

Scott A. Singer is an accomplished trial attorney that has successfully defended major medical institutions and their personnel, including physicians and nurses, in malpractice litigation throughout the metropolitan area for the past two decades. Mr. Singer has also defended businesses in product liability and Dram Shop, and municipalities in personal injury and civil rights litigation in both Federal and State court. 

Mr. Singer has lectured to various healthcare providers on topics ranging from deposition to trial strategy. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Miami (Florida) in 1984, and his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in 1987. Before entering private practice, Mr. Singer was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County.  He is the author of “To Be Or Not To Be; What Is The Answer?”,  and “The Use of Habeus Corpus To Attack Improper Prison Conditions”, which was published in the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement through the New England School of Law.
