Frederick W. Vasselman received his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law and was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2005. He is a general practice attorney specializing in Real Estate, Civil Litigation and Family/Matrimonial Law.
Mr. Vasselman is a retired New York City Police Officer (1990-2010), who was assigned as legal counsel for the New York City Police Department’s Legal Bureau Civil Litigation Unit, and was an attorney for the New York City Police Commissioner. He was also a partner in the Law Firm of Vasselman and Spooner, P.C. which was a general practice law firm that specialized in Real Estate, Civil and Criminal Litigation, and Small Business Administration. In addition, the firm handled matters involving immigration, wills, estate planning and landlord-tenant law.
Mr. Vasselman interned for the Honorable Peter O’Donohue of the Queens County Supreme Court and the Honorable Leslie Crocker Snyder of the New York County Supreme Court. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations. Frederick currently lives in Commack, with his wife Susan, and their two daughters.
