Anthony Venditto is a partner at Vigorito Barker Porter & Patterson, who focuses upon the defense of physicians, nursing homes, dentists and hospitals in medical malpractice actions from the commencement of the lawsuit through trial.
Anthony Venditto is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law. After graduating, Anthony became an Assistant District Attorney in the office of New York County District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau. As an Assistant District Attorney, Anthony handled hundreds of narcotics cases, honing his courtroom skills while assigned to the Office of Special Narcotics. Thereafter, he transferred into the Trial Bureau, handling the felony prosecutions of street crimes. After serving as an Assistant District Attorney for five years, Anthony commenced his career in civil litigation.
Anthony’s practice has been dedicated to defending physicians, nursing homes, dentists and hospitals in complex medical malpractice and wrongful death actions from the commencement of litigation through trial. He has represented several metropolitan area hospitals and has given presentations to interns, residents and attending physicians on a variety of topics in medical malpractice litigation. Anthony has also successfully defended individuals and corporations in claims of general liability, automobile liability, lead paint and premises liability.
